The study Pieces has been designed for the competition bathingbeauties 2006. The subject was a realizable beach hut of
3m x 3m. Our study “pieces” has been selected for the exhibition that is travelling in Great Britain and continental Europe until 2010.
Pieces has a classical structure with a pointed roof. The specific design of the façade breaks the pattern of a stereotypical house. The labyrinth of materials as wood, plastic and glass runs over the entire skin of the house and plays with the incidence of light. The play of material goes on in the furniture. At both gable ends the hut can be entirely opened by folding doors.
